He Swings The Bat and….TOUCHDOWN!

Chicken Little was trying desperately to win his fathers approval, by deciding to join the baseball team; something his father was extremely successful at.  How often do we make decisions based on other people’s expectations of us, only to feel the excitement of our decision fade when we find we are running in the wrong direction?

Even though Chicken Little ran the wrong way, he was successful because he never gave up.  Despite all the odds stacked against him, he still finished well.  Once Little heard the warnings from his peers and his coach, he didn’t allow pride or fear of greater failure keep him from at least trying to correct his mistake.  For this reason, the Acorns won the game – for the first time in 20 years.

Before this historic game, Chicken Little seemed to be a complete failure.  He was the joke of the entire town.  Yet, every morning he awoke with the attitude, “It’s A New Day!”  It wasn’t long that manifested success followed his mindset. Chicken Little became the town hero and had a movie made after his life.

I wonder what the title of my movie will be when it hits the big screen? 🙂

You know, it’s pretty cool to see the hidden messages in children’s movies! Poor Chicken Little, all he wanted was his father’s approval, but it seemed that he wasn’t truly noticed. How often do we become one side or the other? We are either vying for someone’s approval or we ignore other’s that want it from us? I always LOVE your posts! Thanks! 🙂
