What A Beautiful Way To Wake Up!

What God woke me up with at 3:50 this morning…MY REDEEMER LIVES!

Last night I did something I rarely do, I fell asleep with the TV on.  All night God kept waking me up with messages of absolutes.  He did not just give words of hope but He made promising statements.  It was as if God was dancing around my room whispering, “I WILL!” and “I AM DOING!”  What has been is not what will be.  Today is the start of all things new.

So often we struggle with believing He cares about us today, but Jesus thought we were worthy enough to pay our sin debt by dying in our place.  Like a lamb led to the slaughter, He plunged Himself into sins darkness, punched death in the face, and then rose to life again to declare His love and our value.  With great passion He pursued us then and He continues to do so today.

To trust God is not to fall blindly into surrender. His open arms are there to run into.  He’s not an artist rushing to finish before the paint dries on our life’s tapestry.  The path He has for us was established long before we took our first breath.  He’s an artist who’s already admiring His finished masterpiece.  It is for our sake that He’s allowing time to catch-up and the paint to dry before we get to experience His artwork in it’s fullness.

God watched over me while I was sleeping, but His excitement of the plan He has for me caused Him to wake me up to tell me about it.  He did not give detail.  He just wanted to reassure me that He has good things in store for me.  It’s like I’m about to open a gift and He’s more excited to give it than I could ever be to receive it.

God loves you with the same measureless love as He does me.  Know He holds you close and is working all things out as you seek Him.  He’s not hidden or distant. He is right there with you!  YOU are important to Him!

Has God ever danced over you?

When Job sought the Lord to know why the bad things were happening to him, he got no answer from God. It’s often the same with us. God only tells us that He does have a plan for our lives and even though we don’t understand what that plan is or how it is going to work out, we must trust that He always has our best in view. I like what you said…”The path He has for us was established long before we took our first breath. He’s an artist who’s already admiring His finished masterpiece.” So true! We must stay surrendered to His will and allow Him to do in our lives all that He needs.
